Anthony Junior Torres

Anthony Junior Torres was born to Anthony Torres and Sandra Chavez in Albuquerque, NM and was raised in Socorro, NM. He had 3 children and raised them in Chilili, NM.

Anthony was a believer of Christ and tried to live his life to give to others. He was known for his huge heart and loving nature. He loved his children with all his heart. He was a devoted father and gave his all to his children.

Anthony was also a very loving and protective brother.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers Betty Torres and Karen Marrah, grandfathers Fermin Chavez and Johnny Chavez and cousin Nathaniel Valenzuela.

He is survived by his parents Anthony Torres and Sandra Chavez; children Marilena Gutierrez and Layla Gutierrez, and Mathew Gutierrez; siblings Nicole Torres, Betty Torres, Michelle Chavez, Antoinette Torres, Isaiah Torres, Julian Romero, Destynee and Joseph; grandparents Leroy Torres and Flora Chavez; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and his extended Chavez family.

Funeral services will take place 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM; Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Strong-Thorne Chapel on 1100 Coal Ave SE, ABQ, NM 87106.
