Age 79, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021. He was born in Albuquerque, NM on May 19, 1941. Benny enjoyed the outdoors like fishing and camping, also enjoyed going to the casino and being with his family. Benny and Ruth loved traveling, dancing and making new memories. Benny also loved taking his boat out. He loved visiting their children. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather. We will miss you, until we meet again.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Bessie Gonzales; grandparents, Rafael and Juanita Gonzales; Cristoval and Anita Gallegos.
Benny is survived by his wife, Ruth Gonzales; children, Ronald Gonzales, Charles Gonzales, Ludean Perkins, Lawrence Gonzales and wife, Paula, Julie Delgado, Marie Garcia and husband, Juan, Silvia Cuevas and husband, Albert; 16 grandchildren, many great grand children and many great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 28, 2021 from 9:30 to 10:00 am with a Prayer service to follow at 10:00 am, at Strong Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE.
