Carlos passed away peacefully at home with his family around him. Carlos was born in Belize then moved to the US. He enlisted in the US Marines and served for six years(we would love to thank him for his service), then became a police officer in 1984 then got promoted to fugitive detective. Carlos had many hobbies including drawing, running for APD marathon, karate (US karate association), also playing percussion with Hector Pimentel and Abel Lemus. He was a man of honor and service. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, "Paddy" Florenco Martin Garica and Manuela Perdomo; son, Mark A Garcia-Marquez; siblings, Drucella and husband, Netalio Lisbey.
Carlos is survived by son, Carlos GarciaBazan and wife, Patricia; grandchildren, Melissa Trujeque, Tiffany Bazan, Christopher Bazan, Eddie Saiz, Amerette Garcia, Mark Garcia, Jacquelin Arreola and husband, Danny, Monique Garcia, Jonathan Dominguez; great grandchildren, Aaron Jr., Aryana, Tyana, Ivan and many more; siblings, Israel Carlos Garcia, Ramon Garcia and wife, Gladys, Luis Garcia and wife, Claribel, Martin Garcia Jr. and wife, Valerie, Marie Garcia DePaz, Anette Garcia Ayala, Ralph Perdomo and significant other, Julia; and many nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 4:00-5:00 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 5:00 pm at Strong Thorne Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave. SE. A Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 309 Stover Ave. SW. Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
