Caroline Alderete

Caroline N. Alderete, a resident of Albuquerque, born December 14, 1931, passed away on April 23, 2020, after a battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her parents Filiberto and Juanita Nuñez; her sisters Gregoria, Carmen, Frances, Lupe, Josie, Claudia and Bertha; her brother Filiberto Jr.; her sons Alfred and Ramiro; and her great grandchildren Emiliano, Mya, Baby Gallegos and Jayden. She is survived by her daughters Mary and husband Roger Moya, Liz and husband Ronald Gallegos, Jackie and husband Rudy Zamora; her grandchildren Stephanie Moya and partner Len Crow, Ramiro and wife Leslie Gallegos, Vanessa and husband Aaron King, Emilio and wife Kimberly Gallegos and Jerome Zamora; Great grandchildren Ramon, Analisa, Uriah, Christopher, Evan and RaeAnna; and her sister Adela Montes. Caroline will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Pallbearers will be Ramiro and Emilio Gallegos, Jerome Zamora, Ramon and Aaron King and Charles Romero.

Due to the circumstances surrounding COVID-19, a livestream rosary will be held via Facebook and Zoom on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.

A closed viewing will take place at Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102 on Friday, May 1, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Attendees must wear a face mask and be in groups no larger than five (5). Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery with allowance of four (4) attendees during Priest attendance or five (5) attendees without the Priest presence. Facebook and Zoom livestreams will be attempted for all events.
