Lucero, Christina Anna
passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the ago of 70. She was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM on June 4, 1951. She was a beloved daughter, sister, and aunt who cherished spending time with her family. She loved getting dolled up, wearing turquoise jewelry, for church fiestas, state fair and any special occasion that she attended. She was always the first to be on the dance floor, especially when an Elvis song was on. Her hobbies included art and spending time with her AA support group. Over the years she became an AA leader and an inspiration to others. She will be missed.
Christina is survived by her sisters, Gloria Martinez, Shirley Sanchez and husband, Efren, Leona McAuley, Rosemary Lucero, Libby Martinez and husband, Eugene; brother, Rudy Lucero; nieces, Adele Montoya, Amanda Martinez-Ramirez and husband, Antonio, Andrea Garcia and husband, Franko, Maxine Stange and husband, Roy, Ruby Lucero, Beth Lucero, Brenda Sedillo, Holly Lucero, Michelle Vigil and husband, Frankie, Krista McAuley, Lauren McAuley, Jenny Martinez; nephews, Daniel Sanchez and wife, Desiree, Leo Sanchez, Bennie Lucero, Andrew McAuley, Robert Martinez, Angelo, Benito; great nieces, Jayda Garcia, Felicia Chavez, Yesenia Sanchez, Elena Stange, Niamh Stange, Natasha Lucero, Celeste Lucero, Brandy Lucero, Angelina Hernandez, Janessa Vigil, Jaylee Vigil, Jalena Vigil; great nephews, Matthew Montoya and wife, Angela, Frederick II Montoya, Aaron C. Montoya, Gerald Ramirez, Johnny Lucero, Fabian Hernandez, Julian Hernandez, Elliott Hernandez, Joshua Soto, Vicente Cruz; great great niece, Makayla Montoya.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Adela and Bennie A. Lucero; brothers, Fred and Kenneth Lucero; niece, Valerie Lucero and nephew, Eugene (Buddy) C. Martinez.

A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 9:30 with a Mass to follow at 10:00 am at San Felipe Church, 2005 North Plaza NW. Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
