Daisy Cangas-Delgado

In loving memory of my daughter Daisy Cangas Delgado. I will always remember her sweet and friendly smile and her tender heart. Daisy was always willing to lend a helping hand to whomever was in need, she was humble caring and had a heart of gold. Her determination to succeed in life to the best of her ability was relentless. At the age of 16 year old, Daisy applied for her first job, there she was employeed at a pizza store as a cashier, ever since has never stopped working and was always determined to try her best to better herself. Escalating on her experience, she was able to accomplish her goal, to work at a job where she settled into making it her career as a surgical dental assistant for over 10 years. Raising her 3 wonderful children, Chris, Vincent, and Belle, was her pride and joy. Daisy was adventurous,  outgoing, humorous, and always bringing people together in laughter. Ever so humble and loving, whosoever crossed her path, grew fond of her and surely cherished her for the honest and kind heart full of humor. "LOVE" was the word to use, when it came to her children Chris ,Vincent, and Belle, her love for them was immense, always making quality time for them, they were her main priority and "Hiking" was their favorite work out and sport. Her children were her treasure and her reason to live on and make memories with them. Daisy's loving and caring personality truly was amazing! If you ever crossed paths with her, you would come to know you met a loyal and true friend for life. AMEN.Daisy is survived by her mother Maria (Lupe) Vasquez, her children Christopher Martinez,  Vincent Delgado, and Belle Delgado, sister Denise Vasquez, niece Ebony Vasquez, nephews Nathaniel Soto, Omar Soto Jr, and Matthew Vasquez, aunt Terry Vasquez and cousin Andrew, Cory and Vincent Vasquez, aunt Rosa Hernandez and cousin's Eileen, Pearl, Monette, Katrina Armendariz, and Gibby Hernandez aunt Ana Montes and cousin's Benji, Ray and Alexis Montes

A Visitation will be held from 6:00-9:00 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Garcia Mortuary ~ Chapel of Angels on the corner of 8th and Iron. A Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, 9:00 am, at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St. Josephs Drive NW.
