Daniel Lovato

April 22, 1976 — July 19, 2017

Lovato, Daniel  Paul
It is with great sadness we say goodbye to our son, brother, father, partner and friend Daniel Paul Lovato. Daniel was born on April 22, 1976 at 10:08AM to his parents Linda Martinez and Art Lovato. He is survived by his precious son Zane Lee Lovato and Zane’s mother Joy Lynn Aragon, his older brother Christopher Lovato Scirone, his sister-in law Heather Scirone, his nephews CJ and Jonathan Scirone, his little brother Peter Lovato, his niece Cassy Lovato, his baby sister LeAnne Lovato, and his life partner and love Evangeline Garcia and her sons Maliki and Xavier Chandler.
As a little boy, Daniel was always full of adventure. He excelled at everything he did whether is was riding his bike or his skate board. In his youth he loved baseball. He was a very talented catcher and short stop. Every year his little league baseball team went to city champion plays offs. He then went on to play varsity baseball at West Mesa High School. His favorite baseball team was the Philadelphia Philly’s. He and his brother Chris would always razz each other over their favorite baseball teams.
As a young adult, Daniel’s adventurous spirt never changed, his toys just got bigger. He mastered skateboarding, snowboarding in no time. He loved going down the mountain with caution to his back with his best buds Leroy Lovato and Mark Reilly and of course he soon taught his baby sister LeAnne to snow board as well.  He also took up dirt biking and four wheeling. Daniel love to go golfing and then he would spend hours cleaning his golf clubs. He couldn't wait to get his work done and then hit the greens with his golf buddies. There was never a challenge Daniel would shy away from. Everything he did was all or nothing. He would come home and turn up the music and sing along with his favorite punk band at the top of his lungs while he played his guitar driving everyone around him nuts.
Daniel worked just as hard as he played. He became a very skilled woodworker but more than anything he enjoyed  installing woodwork and chatting up his clients. He always seemed to be sent home with cookies from the grateful home owners he was working for. People just loved him but most of all he loved his boy, Zane. Daniel made friends everywhere he went. It didn't matter where he was, he always chatted it up with someone. Daniel was a loving and giving person throughout his life as well as he was in his passing. Unknown to all of us Daniel had signed up to be an organ donor. His kidneys and liver was given  to save the  lives of others. He was a good man doing his best to navigate life. He was loved by many and we will forever love and miss him. He will always be his mom’s little boy.
We ask all who knew Daniel to join us in the celebration of his life and share a story you have about Daniel. It is all of the touching and funny stories we have heard and shared about our Daniel that has gotten us through these hard days.
