Age 50 beloved daughter, sister, mother and grandmother passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023. Dee was born and raised in Gallup, NM, where she also raised her family. She attended school at Fort Windgate and was a cheerleader. She was a jewelry silver smith and sold her craft locally in Gallup. Dee enjoyed cooking for her family and watching her Cowboys play football. She loved to help her family and friends, she was a social butterfly and “Mom” to so many that loved her and that she loved.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Elsie Yazzie; sister, Loretta Yazzie.

She is survived by her children, Alvina Begay, Alvin Begay Jr. Daylon Willie, Jodie Dale; siblings, Leroy J. Yazzie, Joe Yazzie Jr., Harrigan Yazzie.
