Age 69, passed away Monday, January 18, 2016. She was born in Lordsburg, NM on March 28, 1946, to Gregorio and Jovita Montano. She enjoyed baking, cake decorating, flower arranging, crocheting, sewing, quilting, helping others and her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ireneo Montano and sister, Lydia Arambula.
Dora is survived by husband of 15 years, Andres Garcia; brother, Armando Jasso and wife, Lupe; step children, Crystal Gray, Amber Pulse, Eli Ortega; six great step grandchildren; six nieces; five nephews; 23 great nieces and nephews and numerous great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 22, 2016, 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm at St. Anne Catholic Church , 1400 Arenal Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm.
A Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 23, 2016, 9:00 am, at St. Anne Catholic Church. Interment to be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 11:15 am. Pallbearers will be Paul Contreras, Edward Montano, Michael Montano, Lawrence Chavez, Vicente Garcia and Dominic Garcia. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Tim Contreras, David Montano and Ray Montano.
