Hurtado, Eleanor M.
Age 82, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque passed away Thursday, July 7, 2016. Eleanor worked in housekeeping at Hotels and Motels. She was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Aunt Eleanor was very thankful to everyone in her life and was loved by many.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Hurtado; parents, Telesfor and Josefita Tais; siblings, Joaquin (Jack) Tais, Lucy Chavez, Bill Tais, Florinda (Pola) Lujan, Richard Tais; step siblings, Fidel Maldonado, Aurora Lujan, Jose Maldonado.
Eleanor is survived by many nephews, nieces and friends; her dog, Fraiser.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2016, from 6:00-7:00 pm at Garcia Mortuary ~ Chapel of Angels, on the corner of 8th and Iron, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm. A Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, 9:00 am, at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 Fourth St. NW. Interment to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe. Pallbearers will be Florenio Lujan, Telesfor Lujan, Mario Lujan, Alex Saavedra, Anthony Gutierrez and Alcario-John Sanchez.
