Eloisa G Rozzi 92 went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 14, 2021. She was born to Ambrosio and Louisa Garcia on December 10, 1928. She lived her entire life in Old Town. She was a lifelong parishioner of San Felipe de Neri Church, the Sacred Heart League and the Legion of Mary. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, John Rozzi Sr.;son, John Rozzi Jr. and sisters, Emma Garcia and Mary Montaño.
She is survived by children, Terri Maez and husband, Jim, Elaine Ortiz and husband, Ruben and Michael Rozzi who cared for her and was with her 24/7; six grandchildren, Jonathan, Daniel, Joy, Jamie, Valerie and Felicia; ten great grandchildren, Adriana, Krisha, Anthony, Johnny, Lorena, Noah, Matthew, Landon, Emilio and Joshua.
Grandma Rozzi loved to cook and bake anything from her homemade pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving to her famous biscochitos and oatmeal cookies that she would make for an army. She loved doing jigsaw puzzles and making quilts for everyone and embroidering dish towels. She will be dearly missed.
A Rosary will be recited on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 8:30 am with a Mass to be celebrated at 9:00 am at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church, 2005 North Plaza NW. Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
