Age 80, passed away Monday, February 13, 2017. He was born in Canjilon, NM on September 18, 1936.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jose and Eufemia Maestas; sister, Belen Garcia; brothers, Adamacio, Gaspar, Juanito and daughter Patricia.
Emilio is survived by ex wife, Alvina Chavez of Albuquerque, NM; children, Pete and Loretta Maestas of Ensenada, NM, Desi Maestas, Barbara Maestas, Wanda Maestas, Grace and Eddie Litchfield, Frank and Kim Maestas, Emily and Ernest Archuleta all of Albuquerque, NM; 18 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.
A Rosary will be recited on Monday, February 20, 2017 at 9:30 am followed by a Mass at 11:00 am at San Jose Church in Los Ojos, NM. Interment to follow at San Joaquin Cemetery in Ensenada, NM.
Pallbearers will be Adam Maestas, Luke Maestas, Benito Lujan, Santi Maestas, Abenicio Archuleta and Christopher Maestas. Honorary pallbearers will be Timo Maestas, George Maestas, Antonio Lujan, Michael Lujan, Michael Archuleta, Leonard Gonzales.
