Age 89, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017.
Evangelina was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church for 63 years. She was very artistic and smart and enjoyed sewing, painting, crocheting and all arts and crafts.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Luis Cordova; her parents, Bentura and Amelia Quintana and her great grandson, Ryan Hernandez.
Evangelina is survived by her children, Jose Cordova and wife, Delora, Consuelo Saavedra and husband, Frank, Luisa Sedillo and husband, Leo, Arthur Cordova and wife, Carmen, Samuel Cordova, Jean Pimentel and husband, Rick, Sylvia Jones, Rita Ortiz and husband, Melvin, Esther Martinez, Margaret Mendez and husband, Bob, Vincent Cordova, Roger Cordova and wife, Susan, Donna Martinez and husband Steve; 47 grandchildren and 89 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 28, 2017, 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm with a Rosary following at 7:00 pm at Garcia Mortuary ~ Chapel of Angels , Located on 8th Street and Iron. A Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 29, 2017, 9:30 am, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.Pallbeareres will be Jose Cordova, Arthur Cordova, Sam Cordova, Vincent Cordova, Roger Cordova and Steven Cordova.
