Evelyn "Ev" Martinez

On August 7, 2018, Ev flew home to rest peacefully with our Dear Lord and her pups Peaches and Shoogie.

Born August 19, 1950 in Los Angeles, Ca to Rosa Chavez and William Martinez,

Ev loved her game shows, trivia, listening to oldies, and playing Bingo with her mom.

She retired from UNMH after 45 years of service. One of her great accomplishments.

She is preceded in death by her father.

Survived by 2 children, Bernadette Sisneros, and Eric Martinez; grandchildren Goose, and Lola;

Mother, Rosa; sisters Dina Barreras, Carol Covarrubias; brother Michael Martinez, and 2 pups, Tubbs and Lulu.

Her funny humor, silly jokes, her smile, her dimple, and quick wit will be greatly missed.

A Rosary will be recited Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 8:15am, followed by Mass at 9:00 am, at

St Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St. Josephs Drive NW, Albuquerque

Reception will follow immediately, 401 Kinley Ave Ne, 87102- US Postal workers Union hall.

We wish to thank all of Ev’s coworkers, longtime friends, and family for all the love and support shown to Ev in her final days.
