Age 70, passed away Friday, April 27, 2018. She was born June 9, 1947. She was a manager at Lotaburger and a caretaker for her brother Donald for 12 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Alex Montano Sr.; parents, Natividad and Simonita Varela; brothers, Simon and Larry Varela.
Flora is survived by her children, Diane Montano and Alex Montano Jr. ; grandchildren. Janelle Martinez, Alex Montano III, Jeremiah Ortiz; special brother Donald Varela, brothers, Marvin Varela, Porfirio Varela, Roselio Varela, Arturo Varela, Joseph Varela and Gilbert Varela; sisters, Virginia Ortega, Connie Ortega, Elsie Martinez and Frances Gallegos.
A Visitation will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Chapel of Angels on the corner of 8th and Iron. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 11:00 am at New Beginnings Church, 3601 Montgomery Blvd NE.
