Age 79, was born on November 28, 1936 in Albuquerque, NM and passed away on October 22, 2016. Florence was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her family, fishing, camping, playing cards, bingo and going to the casino.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Eutimio Romero; her parents, Jose and Rebecca Barreras; siblings, Ruben, Bobby and Mercy.
Florence is survived by her children, Becky, Bernadette, Tim and wife, Kathy, Jim, Ruben and wife, Stephanie; 11 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and god children.
A Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Garcia Mortuary ~Chapel of Angels on the corner of 8th and Iron. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW with a Mass to follow at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Vista Verde Memorial Park, Rio Rancho following the Mass. Pallbearers will be, John Sedillo, Dominic Sedillo, Ron Romero, Timmy Romero, Richard Gonzales, Rudy Vigil. Honorary Pallbearers will be, John Romero and Joseph Cordova.
