Gabina Espinoza Venegas, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, age 103, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 11, 2023, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born on March 15, 1920, in Frenzilla, Zacatecas Mexico to Tranquilla Espinoza and Marcelino Venegas.
Gabina lived a life filled with love, joy, and a strong sense of family. She cherished her roots and held close the values instilled in her by her parents. As a young girl growing up in Frenzilla, Gabina learned the importance of hard work and dedication from her family.
Throughout her life, Gabina found immense satisfaction tending to her ranch. The land brought her solace and provided an outlet for her creativity and passion for nature. Her love for cooking was renowned among family and friends. The warmth of her kitchen was matched only by the delicious meals she prepared with love.
Beyond her culinary talents, Gabina had a zest for life. She found joy in every moment she spent dancing to lively music that filled the air. Her energy was infectious as she twirled and swayed gracefully on the dance floor.
But above all else, Gabina's heart belonged to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Her devotion to family knew no bounds. She cherished every opportunity to spend time with them and create beautiful memories that would be treasured for generations to come.
Gabina will forever be remembered for her strength of character and unwavering sense of compassion. Despite facing challenges throughout her life's journey, she approached each obstacle with grace and resilience. Her tenacity taught us the importance of perseverance and never giving up.
Gabina is preceded in death by her mother Tranquilla Espinoza, father Marcelino Venegas, 5 sister and 3 brothers.
She is survived by Cruz Espinoza (Fidencio Hernandez), Felix Espinoza Trejo (Rosa Trejo), Maria Trejo Espinoza (Jesus Gurrola), Albero Trejo (Ignacia Trejo), Belen Trejo Espinoza (Felipe Ramirez), Marcelino Espinoza Trejo (Yolanda Trejo), Santana Trejo Espinoza (Olga Trejo), and Jose Trejo. She is also survived by her 38 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren, who will forever cherish the memories they shared.
In this time of profound loss, let us celebrate the life of Gabina Espinoza Venegas and the impact she had on all those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will be carried in our hearts, as we remember her love, strength, and unwavering devotion to family.
