Age 68, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018. He was born in Albuquerque, NM on February 25, 1949, to Raymond W. and Mabel Perea. Raymond was part of the Los Lobos Pigeon club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond W. Perea and Mabel Perea and one sister, Annie Armijo.
Gilbert is survived by wife, Lillian Perea; children, Gilbert Perea Jr., Nadine Perea, Margaret Chavez and husband, Anthony; five grandchildren, A.J., Francisco, Michael, Tiffany Chavez, Nathan Garcia; two great grandchildren, Jayzereth, Joviah and Lillianna Chavez.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00 pm on Monday, March 5, 2018 at Holy Family Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. A Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 9:00 am at Holy Family Church. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:15 am.
Pallbearers will be, Gilbert Perea Jr., Anthony Chavez, A.J. Chavez, Francisco Chavez, Nathan Garcia and Michael Chavez.
