Gabaldon Moya, Helen
Age 86, passed away on March 1, 2017. She was born in Albuquerque, NM to Petronillo and Maria Gabaldon.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Frank, Orlando, Rudy Gabaldon, Flora Sanchez (Severo) , Margie Gabaldon (Alfredo).  Helen was a three time retiree, her last position was greeting the public at Walmart where she made many friends. She finally "formally" retired at 84 years old. She was a long time member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the DAV, she participated in many charitable functions, children's events and volunteer activities. She will be remembered for her strength, compassion, generosity and love for her family.
Helen is survived by her children, Judy Symonds Hill, Lloyd Symonds Jr. (Jeanette), James Symonds (Cynde), Sharon Symonds Lascano (David), Marcelino Saavedra Jr. (Marlene); 11 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren as well as a great number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Rosary will be recited on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Garcia Mortuary ~ Chapel of Angels on the corner of 8th and Iron with a Funeral Service to follow. Inurnment will take place at a later date. To view service information or leave a condolence please visit www.danielsfuneral.com.
