Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, passed away Friday, June 3, 2016. Ida enjoyed traveling, cooking and being a caregiver. She was a devoted mother who raised her children by herself, she was a forgiving person who gave so much for her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Nevaez Turrietta, Josefita Jaramillo, Gilbert Romero, Jerry Turrettia, Josie Turrietta.
Ida is survived by daughter, Flora Serrano; grandchildren, George Yribe, Joslin Chavez and husband, Brian, Gilbert Turrietta, Starlet Turrietta, Tara Fajardo; great grandchildren, Damian Dyke, George A. Yribe, Alfonso G. Yribe, Xavier Chavez, Isaiah Chavez; sisters Dolores Martinez, Gloria Felix and Julia Silva and her Chihuahua, Elvis. A Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at Holy family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW, interment to follow at Santa Clara Cemetery.
