Age 78, beloved and devoted mother and grandmother passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018 while surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luciano and Lugardita Lucero; her husband, Benny C. King.
Irene is survived by her children, Daniel King and girlfriend, Monica Nieto, Denise King-Barth and husband, Daniel; two grandchildren, Michael Benny and Danielle Barth and many other relatives and friends. Irene was a beautiful soul and she will be greatly missed by her loving family and those whose hearts she touched.
A Rosary will be recited on Friday, October 26, 2018, 9:30 am, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo, with a Mass to follow at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE. Reception to follow at Zapata Club, 2723 1/2 Isleta Blvd. SW.
