Avila, Isabel

Age 93, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away on February 16, 2018. She enjoyed listening to her Spanish music, dancing, watching her Lobos and spending time with her family. She was a member of Holy Family parish.

Isabel is preceded in death by her husband, Tony Avila; parents, Julian and Modesta Garcia; son, Eddie C. Avila and grandson Eddie F. Avila.

She is survived by children, Ray Avila, Linda Buckner and husband, Henry, Robert Avila and wife Feliz; nine grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held from 8:00 – 8:30 am on Thursday, February 22, 2018 with a Rosary to be recited at 8:30 with a Mass to be celebrated at 9:00 am at Holy Family Parish, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW. Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. A Reception will be announced after the Mass. Pallbearers will be Debbie, Avila, Angel Sheppard, Autumn Avila, Melodye Avila, Sylvia Carlton, Sabrina Urias, and Monique Lopez. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Phillip Avila, Robert Avila, Anthony Avila, Julian Avila, Eric Madrid, Ray Avila, Benito Valenzuela, Andrew Avila, and Patrick Parra.
