Age 99, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021. She was born in El Pueblo, NM on May 10, 1921. Isabel loved baseball and was a huge Dodger fan. Like her devotion to the team she was a devout Catholic and mother. She worked side by side with her husband owning Stufy's Restaurant all while raising her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacobo and Virginia Ortiz; husband, Raymond Madrid; daughter in law, Ellen Madrid; siblings, Margaret Crespin, Lorenza Martinez, Remijia Griego, Melita Dimas, Jacoba (Jakie) Gonzales, Eloy Ortiz and Jose Ortiz.

Isabel is survived by her sons, Alberto Madrid, Paul Madrid and wife, Esther; grandchildren, Yvonne Madrid, Raymond Madrid, Lisa Madrid, Rhonda Baca and husband, Alex, Albert Madrid; eleven great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; siblings, sister, Corita Ortiz, Tobias Ortiz and wife, Molly as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 8:30am with a Rosary to be recited at 9:00 am and a Mass to be celebrated at 9:30am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 309 Stover Ave. SW. Burial will take place on Friday May 7, 2021  at 11:15 am at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alberto Madrid,  Raymond Madrid, Albert Madrid, Andrew Jaramillo, Stephen Madrid, Johnathon Madrid.
