Age 82, passed away Monday, August 31, 2015. She was born in Torreon, NM on December 7, 1932, to the late, Aristeo and Desideria Lopez. She was a faithful and active member of St. Anne's Church Jennie was a loving mother and grandmother. She touched many lives with her generosity, love and strength.
Jennie is survived by children, Sam Rivera and wife, Loretta, Melvin Rivera, Michael Rivera (Denise Batmen); sisters, Frances Lopez, Mary Jaramillo and husband, Phil, Edwina Tabares; brothers, Aristeo Lopez (Mary), James Lopez and wife, Angie; sisters in law, Merlinda Story and husband, Terry, Josie Gonzales; brother in law Tony Rivera; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd. SW. Mass to be celebrated on Friday, September 4, 2015, 9:00 am, at St. Anne Catholic Church with interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
