Age 74, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019. He was born and raised in the Los Padillas part of Albuquerque, NM on June 1, 1945. Jerry enjoyed gardening, going for walks and walking the pilgrimage to Tome Hill, old cars, going to the casino, joking and spending time with his family.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Emily Moraga; children, Jerry Moraga Jr. and wife, Germaine, Robert Moraga and wife, Ida, Johnny Moraga and wife, Kelly; seven grandchildren, Lytisha, Leann, Robert Jr., Amanda, Ashley, Joseph, Isaiah; three great grandchildren, Shayla, Analeah, Micah; siblings, Eddie Moraga and Perla Garnand.
A Visitation will take place from 6:00-6:30 pm on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 with a Rosary to follow at 6:30 pm. A Final Viewing will be from 9:30-10:00 am with Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 all to be held at Church of the Ascension, 2150 Raymac Rd. SW. Interment to follow at Pajarito Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be, Steve Moraga, Cruz Galaviz, Chris Madrid, Ray Madrid, James Madrid and Anthony Madrid. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Norman Chavez, Justin Madrid, Matthew Archuleta and Jake Zamora. To view information or leave a condolence please visit www.garciamortuary.com
