Campos, Jesus B.
Age 96, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015. He was born in Tome, NM on October 15, 1918. Jesus joined the CC camp at age 17, then joined the army in 1941 to return home in 1945; making him a WWII veteran, he was part of the D.A.V. and V.F.W. He worked shortly as a bartender then went to work for the City of Albuquerque, where he retired from. He married his love Lena and had there family. He was an usher at Sacred Heart Church for many years. Jesus lived life to the fullest, enjoyed spending time with his family he was the best dancer ever, especially when dancing polkas. He will be missed but never forgotten. Love you Dad.
Jesus is survived by his children, Nancy Sanchez and husband, Charles, Rosie Olguin, Rudy Campos and wife, Corrine, Bennie Duran and wife, Yvonne, Jesse J. Campos Jr. and partner in life, Dino Otero, Richard Campos; sisters, Louise Gutierrez, Martha Muniz; 14 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lena Campos; parents, Antonio Baca and Margarita Campos; son, Robert L. Campos; grandsons, Robert M. Campos and James J. Duran.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 27, 2015, 6:30 pm - 7:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 309 Stover Ave SW, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm. A Mass be held on Friday, August 28, 2015, 10:00 am, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
