Lillian Lucero

Lillian Lucero, born August 24, 1953, has passed on April 12, 2024. She was born and raised in the Barelas neighborhood and attended Albuquerque High School. 

Lillian loved her family with all her heart, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, God mother, sister, auntie and friend. She enjoyed, singing, dancing, attending concerts, and going to the movies. Lillian enjoyed sewing, making clothes, making outfits and costumes for her grandchildren and countless alterations for friends and family. 

Lillian was a devoted Catholic and was a parishioner at St. Anne’s Catholic church a member of the church choir. 

Lillian is survived by her beloved husband Rick Wiegert, her children Ron Vigil, and Peggy & Jay Scarbro; her grandchildren Tyler, Nautica, Adia, Brooklyn, and Jacxon; great granddaughter Teylie, and her siblings Phil, Leonard, Deluvina, Raymond, Delora, Leroy, Gabriel, and Debra.

 She is preceded in death by her parents Juan and Felicita Lucero; previous husband Leo Vigil; Aunt Lugardita Torres, and sister Margaret Benavidez.
