Lupe Sanchez, passed away in peace the morning of Wednesday, January 13, 2016 in the quiet comfort of her own home. She poured her life’s work into caring for her family while maintaining a welcoming home for company to come and enjoy conversation around the kitchen table. Lupe Sanchez was preceded in death by her husband Ambrosio Sanchez and she will live on in her children, Viola Moya (Maurice), Emelda Altamirano (Sammy), Michael Sanchez (Yolanda), Mary Louise Smith (Floyd), Robert Sanchez (Antia), Geraldine Weber (Randy), Lynn Dibben (Mark), and Bernadine Sanchez; a legacy of 24 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
A Rosary will be recited Monday, January 18, 2016 at 7:00 pm at St. Anne Church, 1400 Arenal Rd. SW. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 9:00 am also at St. Anne Church, followed by interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pall Bearers will be Marcus Moya, Jeremy Smith, Anthony Tagliaferro, Jason Sanchez, David Sanchez, Daimon Altamirano. Honorary Bearers will be Chris, Matthew and Diego Moya, Abram and Anton Sanchez, and Douglas Smith.
