Age 16, passed away Monday, April 29, 2019. She was born in Dallas, TX on October 29, 2002, to Jesus and Mercedes Amaya. Maira loved spongebob square pants, reading novels (Paula Cohelo was her favorite author), she loved her vans, all different types of music, playing the guitar and singing at church and for her pueblo in Mexico.
Maira is survived by her parents, Mercedes Amaya and Jesus Trujillo; siblings, Ilse Trujillo, Jesus Trujillo Jr. and grandmother, Elvira Gallardo.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 6:00 pm on Friday, May 3, 2019 at Garcia Mortuary ~ Chapel of Angels, on the corner of 8th and Iron with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm. A Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 9:45 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 309 Stover Ave. SW, with Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Trujillo, Maira, de 16 años, falleció el lunes 29 de abril de 2019. Hija de Jesús y Mercedes nacida el 29 de octubre de 2002 en Dallas, Tx. Maira amaba a Spongebob Square Pants, le gustaba leer y su autor favorito era Paulo Coelho y tenía una gran preferencia por los tenis (Vans). Le gustaba todo tipo de música, tocaba la guitarra y participaba en el coro de la iglesia de su pueblo, Santa Ma. del Oro Dgo, Mx.
Le sobreviven sus padres , Mercedes Amaya y Jesus Trujillo; hermanos , Ilse Trujillo, Jesus Trujillo Jr y su abuela, Elvira Gallardo.
El servicio se realizará en: El viernes 3 de mayo de 2019 se llevará a cabo una visita de 5:00 a 6:00 pm en el Mortuorio de García ~ Capilla de los Ángeles, en la esquina de 8th and Iron with a Rosary, que se recitará a las 6:00 pm. Una misa se celebrará el sábado 4 de mayo de 2019 a las 9:45 am en la Iglesia Católica del Sagrado Corazón, 309 Stover Avenue. SW, con entierro a seguir en el cementerio del Monte Calvario.
