Manuel Carabajal passed away peacefully on October 31, 2018. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Rebecca Carabajal. Manuel was born to David and Beatrice (Castillo) Carabajal on February 23, 1938 and lived in the Barelas neighborhood in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He also proudly served his country in the United States Army. Manuel loved to spend his time outdoors fishing, working in his garden and spending time with his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Manuel worked at Presbyterian Hospital until his retirement and made many, many friends. Manuel was loved by everyone who met him and he will be greatly missed.
Manuel is survived by one sister Logie; his sons, Joe (Michelle), John and David (Susan) Carabajal; two daughters, Yvonne Carabajal and Elizabeth (Lorenzo) Valenzuela; step-children, Becky (Richard), Emory (Monica) and Daniel (Melissa); many grandchildren, great grandchildren and other friends and relatives.

A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at  7:00 pm at Garcia Mortuary ~ Chapel of Angels on the corner of 8th and Iron.
