Age 83, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016. He was born in Belen, NM on December 30, 1932, to Timoteo and Emilia Sanchez. Martin was a member of the American Legion post 13, DAV and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Angela Armijo; two brothers, Serito and Daniel Sanchez.
Martin is survived by his wife, Cecilia G. Sanchez; son, Marvin Sanchez and wife, Gennie; grandson, Bobby M. Armijo; step grandchildren, Ruben and Daphne Sanchez; great grandchildren, Anthony, Kayla, Enrique, Santiago Armijo, Jonoah and Ellie Sanchez; siblings, Tim, Sisto Sanchez, Sally Gonzales, Christina Telles.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2017from 8:00-8:45 am at Garcia Mortuary Chapel, 717 Stover Ave. SW, a Rosary will be recited at 9:15 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 309 Stover Ave. SW, with a Mass to follow at 9:30 am.
