Age 83, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018. She was born in El Pueblo, NM on April 30, 1934. Mary was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima for 34 years. A loving and caring daughter, sister, mother, aunt and above all caregiver. She took care of many children throughout the 25 years she had her daycare and she loved them all as her own. She will be greatly missed and remembered for her, kindness, humor, cooking and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfredo and Escolastica Romero and three brothers.

Mary is survived by two sisters; two brothers; a son and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 2, 2018, 6:00-7:00 pm at Garcia Mortuary ~ Chapel of Angels, Located on 8th Street and Iron, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. A final visitation will be held from 10:00-10:45 am on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd NE with a Mass to be celebrated at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Prestige Center following the burial.
