Gutierrez, Nasario Joe

Age 76, passed away Friday, June 14, 2019. He was born in Chilili, NM on September 22, 1942. He loved to go to the Casino to play the slots, watching football, listening to Fats Domino and spending time with all his grandchildren, especially his baby face Evelynn Paiz, his only great grandchild. He loved talking on the phone, he was a very social man and made friends everywhere he went. This isn't goodbye, but until we meet again.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Gutierrez; parents, Lauro and Crusita Gutierrez; brothers, Henry Gutierrez, Raymond Gutierrez and Gilbert Gutierrez.

Nasario is survived by his children, Frances Gutierrez and spouse, John Paiz, Nasario Gutierrez Jr. and wife, Yvette, Adam Gutierrez; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 6:00-7:00 pm followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm at St. Therese of the infant Jesus Catholic Church, 3424 4th Street NW. A final viewing will be held from 8:30-9:00 am on Friday, June 21, 2019 with a Mass to be celebrated at 9:00 am at St. Therese of the infant Jesus with Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be, J. J. Paiz, Xavier Gutierrez, Gene Gutierrez Jr., Eppie Lucero Jr., Paul Lucero and Dominic Chacon. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Destiny Paiz, Yesenia Gutierrez and Evelynn Paiz. To view information or leave a condolence please visit www.garciamortuary.com
