Patricia G. Flores was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico to Antonio and Carlota Quintela Flores on October 1, 1957. She was welcomed into Heaven on August 24, 2017 as her Sweet Mother held her hand.
Patricia was employed by the District Attorney's Office (Clint Wellborn) in Socorro, New Mexico prior to Retirement. She was a 1975 Graduate of Las Cruces High School and attended New Mexico Tech. She loved spending time with her grand babies, cooking and she always enjoyed a good book, especially a John Grisham novel. Her favorite flowers were roses and lilies. Patricia was fondly referred to as Patty. She would often respond to questions with a "Yes, Dear!" Patty was a Sweetheart and a woman of great Faith. She will be greatly missed as she was dearly loved by all.
Left with fond memories of Patty are her Companion, Frankie Marquez; Son, Antonio Marquez; Daughter, Felicia Marquez (Cord Trujillo); Step Son, Frankie Marquez, Jr.; Grandsons, Santino and Jose Marquez-Franco of Socorro, NM; Mother, Carlota Flores; Brothers, Manuel Flores (Lupe), Louis Flores, Leslie Flores, David Flores (Toni) and Eloy Flores (Gloria); Sisters, Yolanda Garcia (Robert) and Diana Parra of Las Cruces, NM.
Others left with fond memories of Patty are her Uncles, Steve Quintela (Inez) and Gilbert Quintela (Bessie) of Carlsbad, NM; Richard Franco (Mary) of Long Beach, CA, and Pedro Franco (Marsie) of Pueblo, CO; Aunts, Lilia Gutierrez of Loving, NM, Mary Aragon of Carlsbad, NM, Esperanza Lucero of Los Angeles, CA, Helen Mendiola, Esperanza Sombke and Virginia Flores of Roswell , NM and Mary Alvarado of Colorado Springs, CO.
Patty joins her family in eternal rest to include her Father, Antonio L. Flores, Nephews, Richard and T.J. Escalante, Sister and Brother-in-Law, Lina and Tom Escalante, Brother, Michael Flores, Sister, Angelica Flores and her Paternal Grandparents, Manuel Flores and Eva Herrera and Maternal Grandparents, Estevan and Guadalupe Quintela.
Services will be held in Socorro, New Mexico as well as in Las Cruces, New Mexico - To be announced
