Ricardo, son of Vicente and Francisca Guerra, was born on April 3, 1967 in Tlatlauquitepec, Puebla, Mexico and passed away unexpectedly due to an apparent heart attack on December 26, 2019 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Ricardo met and married Yolanda Trujillo on February 3, 1995 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Their home was blessed with four children, two sons and two daughters. Ricardo thoroughly enjoyed his job as a welder in the construction industry. He enjoyed listening to music and dancing. He loved visiting with others. Those who knew him appreciated his kind sharing heart and his sense of humor. As a family we have fond memories of Dad's Saturday morning pancakes and he enjoyed making tamales with his daughter, Lluvia during Christmas time. In the summer of 2019, Dad excitedly welcomed his first grandchild. He loved to play with her and make her dance. He was very encouraging and understanding. We will miss his love, humor and knowing that he was always there. He was preceded in death by his father, Vicente Guerra and one sibling.

Ricardo is survived by his wife, Yolanda Guerra; four children, Marisela, Vicente, Octavio, Lluvia; one granddaughter, Abilene all of the home; He is also survived by his mother and nine siblings.

Visitation will be held from 10:30-11:00 am on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Church of God In Christ Mennonite, 2530 Blake Rd SW, with a prayer service to follow at 11:00 am.
