Robert Rimbert

Robert L. Rimbert, beloved father, husband, son, brother, and uncle was born on August 10, 1968 in Albuquerque, NM and taken by the Lord on Thursday, December 05, 2019 due to illness. He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, his mother, Frances Beltran, and sister in-law Marcella Martinez. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Mrs. Monica Rimbert, his five beautiful children, Robert Rimbert II, Sebastian Rimbert, Abraham Rimbert, Francisco Rimbert, and Angel (Sissy) Rimbert.  As well as his father Joachim “Kenito” Rimbert, two brothers,  Joaquin Rimbert & wife Nicole Rimbert, Martin Beltran, and his sister Salina Rimbert.  He had many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins,  that he dearly loved.

Robert received his bachelor’s degree from the University of New Mexico in 1997 with a dual major in Accounting and Finance.  He was employed at PNM for 14 years where his co-workers loved him dearly.

He kept his children busy throughout their childhood by introducing them to sports, focusing on baseball and football.  His sons grew to love each of those sports and continued through high school, with his youngest child, Angel, starting off her love for sports in baseball as well.  All 5 of his children participated through South Valley Little League and YAFL.  Throughout the 20 years of their participation he dedicated his time to coaching their teams knowing how important it was to show his children his dedication to them and how important it was for them to stay active and busy. This effort proved to be effective in how his 4 sons have grown into respectful young men. His favorite past time is watching his favorite NFL football team,  the Pittsburgh Steelers, play each season. His family would gather to enjoy each Steeler’s  game while eating a "Game Day" meal together. He will be missed in the stands as his children's biggest fan.

Pallbearers are Joaquin Rimbert, Martin Beltran, Monte Cristo Martinez, Antonio Aragon, Joseph Rael, and Philip Garcia.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Garcia’s Mortuary.  Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 6:00 pm at Garcia Mortuary ~ Chapel of Angels, on the corner of 8th and Iron.  Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at  9:00am at St. Anne’s Church, 1400 Arenal Rd. SW with procession to follow to Mount Calvary where Robert will be laid to rest.
