Roland Harger II

Roland “Rusty” Harger, age 50.  Born June 3, 1967, resident of Daphne Alabama, formerly of Albuquerque, NM went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on September 29, 2017.
Rusty is survived by his wife of 30 years, Brigitte, his two loving sons Kyle and Dillon Harger, father, Roland “Roby” Harger, brother Brett Harger and girlfriend Tammy Jacobs, sister Kimberley Baldonado, nephews Duane, Trent, and Myles Harger, Adam Bryand, Conner William Gebman, Tyler Chapman, and Keldyn Ropraz, Nieces, Savannah Ropraz, Amanda Bryand, Ashlynn Gebman-Watts, Makayla, Zariah and Connie Harger.  Many aunts, uncles, cousins, and co-workers.  He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Connie Harger.
Among many things Rusty was an electrical supervisor at Austal USA, a former registered nurse, a member of Coastal Church, a football coach, a fisherman, and a former race car driver in Albuquerque, where he was a 4-time champion.
Rusty will be greatly missed by all those who loved and knew him.
The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00pm. A Celebration of Rusty’s Life will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, October 6, 2017 at New Beginnings Church, 3601 Montgomery Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to: The Kyle Petty Charity Ride, 125 Floyd Smith Dr., Suite 45, Charlotte, NC, 28262.
