Rose was welcomed into the arms of the Lord and our Savior Jesus Christ on January 26, 2022 at the age of 88. Rose was a devout Catholic and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, where she loved to attend Mass. Rose enjoyed life to the fullest and was loved by all who knew her. She was very independent, always had a positive attitude and an optimistic view of life. She always counted on the Lord to help her through difficult times. She enjoyed hosting and attending family gatherings. One of her favorite activities was hosting an annual family picnic at the park. Rose enjoyed dancing, singing and joking around. She will be missed by all.

Rose was born in Santa Fe, NM where she attended Catholic School and then moved to Chamita, NM after she was married. Rose eventually moved to Albuquerque where she worked until retirement. After retirement she enjoyed her time at home. Rose was an active member of the senior center in Albuquerque. Special thanks to Senior Affairs for all their assistance with home projects. She belonged to LaVida Felicidad for Home Care. A very special thanks to her caregiver, Tessy Fisher, for various years of care and dedication and devotion. Also thanks to niece Gina and her husband Richard.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents Alfonso and Sista Garcia; husbands Joe Pacheco and Jose Torres; children Phillip Pacheco, George Diego Pacheco, Charlie Pacheco, Alfonso Pacheco and Leroy Pacheco; siblings Tony Garcia, Alfonso Arthur Garcia, Jr. and Rudy Garcia.

Rose is survived by her children Elizabeth Pacheco-Quinn, Prescilla Vigil (Manuel) and Frankie Pacheco; sisters Ruth Martinez and Diana Olguin of Santa Fe; various grandchildren and great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 10:00 am followed by a Mass at 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 619 Copper Ave. NW. Masks are required to attend the service.
