Our angel was called to be with the Lord on June 1, 2017. Theresa was born on September 12, 1928 in Canon, NM to the late Narciso and Florinda Lucero. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and so much more. She was loved by all and loved everyone she came into contact with. Her greatest joy was her family, which was also always her biggest priority. She gave of herself selflessly throughout her life. She had the beautiful ability to see only the best in people.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reynel; her daughter, Flora; her son, Reynel.
Theresa is survived by her children, Gloria Garcia-Lucero (Al), Martha Garcia (Al), David Garcia (Carla),  Phillip Garcia (Patty), Kristine Sanchez (Richard); daughter-in-law, Betty Garcia; sister, Julia Marquez (Evy); 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6-7 pm on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Garcia Mortuary ~ Chapel of Angels located on the corner of 8th and Iron with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, 9:30 am, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd NW.  Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Albuquerque. Pallbearers will be Ricky Sanchez, Richard Sanchez, Michael Garcia, Alexis Lucero, Steve Marquez and Victor Marquez. Honorary pallbearers will be Reynel Garcia and Lorenzo Garcia.
