Age 82, passed away Friday, April 8, 2016. Valentina enjoyed cooking she worked for APS Central kitchen for 10 years and the Sunbell corp for 15 years. She was a member of San Jose Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pablo and Narcisa Godinez; sisters, Lupe Parra, Angie Godinez, Flora Montano, Carol Godinez; brothers, Crescencio Godinez and Louie Godinez.
Valentina is survived by her brothers, Frank, Paul and wife, Ruth and Richard and wife, Bennie Godinez and several nieces and nephews.
A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. with a Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. at San Jose Parish, 2401 Broadway, Blvd. SE. with Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Philip Godinez, Donald Godinez, Gabriel Godinez, David Naranjo, Isaiah Naranjo, Demetrio Alire. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Dennis Medina, Ricky Godinez, Lorraine Chavez, Greg Chavez and Mariah Chavez.
