Yolanda Albertina Sanchez

Yolanda was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, where she her early years surrounded by the vibrant culture of the city. For 27 years, she dedicated herself to her work as a food preparation technician, contributing her skills and passion to her profession.

A gentle spirit, Yolanda led a quiet life filled with the joys of dancing and the rhythms of Spanish music. She cherished simple pleasures, such as enjoying her iced coffee and tidying her home early on weekends while listening to KANW, her favorite radio station.

Above all, Yolanda loved her family deeply, and her kindness knew no bounds. While she had her moments of intensity, her love and warmth left a lasting impression on those around her. Yolanda also had a passion for travel, often returning to her beloved California to visit the beaches that held a special place in her heart.

Yolanda will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. Her spirit and the memories shared will always be cherished. Until we meet again.

Yolanda was preceded in death by her grandparents Alberto and Eugenia Rambs and Luciano and Maria Sanchez, parents Valentin and Maria (Lucy) Sanchez and son-in-law Marco Garcia. 

Yolanda is survived by her children, Adrian Sanchez and wife Tikisha, David Anaya and wife Marie, Arleen Anaya, Diane Anaya and fiancé Elbert Triplett, grandchildren Ahryanna Sanchez and significant other Kayla Quintana, Esperanza Garcia and fiancé Dominic Rael, Isaac Anaya, and Marcos Garcia, great grandchildren Xenia Garcia and Lola Rael and many stepbrothers and stepsisters, as well as plenty of nieces and nephews. 

A Viewing will take place at Garcia Mortuary Chapel of Angels 624 8th St SW  (Large Chapel on 8th Street) is to take place on August 30, 2024 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A Rosary will be recited from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM and a prayer service to follow from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM
